The Brisbane team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to facilitate their growing client base. You will be working for driven and experienced partners who are dedicated to their long-standing clients across NFP and charities, hospitality, aged care, agribusiness, construction, and trade unions.

About the Role:
As an Audit Manager, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Managing audit jobs assigned to you, typically with a team of 2-4 people which you will supervise for each job
• Managing a portfolio of audit clients (with partner involvement), including: scheduling work, contacting clients, assigning work, reviewing work and ensuring jobs are completed on time (to standard)
• Completing higher risk areas of audit files
• Presenting audit findings to clients (Boards and members)
• Training audit staff on a rotation basis with other senior leadership team members
• Reviewing client work in progress against budget
• Taking on potential new client leads and drafting potential new client proposals
• Supervising and coaching staff for the audit projects | Reviewing junior work

Skills and experience:

• 5+ years' experience working as an External Auditor with 2+ years' experience as a Manager/Supervisor/Assistant Manager (preferably in an Australian firm)
• Technically strong knowledge with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB and IFRS)
• Caseware experience strongly preferred
• CPA/CA qualified
• Have access to a car (preferred) for on-site client engagements
• Self-motivated, high attention to detail and excellent leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain (and build) strong client relationships
