About the role

PROTECTIVE PLASTICS' is seeking a passionate and skilled Manufacturing - Plastics Moulder to join our team in Marcoola, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexibility in your work schedule. As a Plastics Moulder, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality plastic parts and components. Potential for full time status to suitable candidate.

What you'll be doing

Operate and monitor plastic moulding machines to produce a variety of plastic components

Perform set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of moulding equipment

Inspect and quality check finished products to ensure they meet required standards

Troubleshoot any issues with the moulding process and take necessary corrective actions

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Collaborate with the production team to optimise efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a plastics manufacturing or moulding role, preferably in the Assembly & Process Work industry

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with equipment

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions

Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices
