About us

We are a small family-owned blind manufacturer based in Yatala, producing venetian blinds for customers across Australia and New Zealand. All of our blinds are made-to-order, and we are looking for someone to join our team to help us manufacture our blinds.

You will need to be self-motivated, able to work to deadlines and have strong attention to detail. You will read the order form, work with our team to make the blinds exactly as the customer has ordered, and then assist with packing and shipping the orders. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, wants to join a close-knit team and wants to be part of a growing business.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has accuracy with strong attention to detail
• Has outstanding punctuality and attendance
• Has reliable own transport
• Has a genuine interest in manufacturing
• Is physically fit to perform all duties (lifting up to 20kg), as well as stand for the majority of your shift
• Enjoys working in a team environment

Previous experience in production/factory work is desired, but not essential.

What you will do:

• Work in a team to produce venetian blinds for customers
• Read order forms to determine blind dimensions and then:
• Operate blind making machinery while also monitoring quality control, ensuring all blinds that leave our factory are up to standard
• Enjoy working in a constant, busy environment

Hours of work:

Our hours of business are 6am - 3pm Monday through to Friday. We are looking for a casual to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.

This could be across 3 standard days, or would suit someone who has university or school drop offs and needs flexibility in their hours. We are happy to accommodate the hours that work for you.

No weekend work required, immediate start available.
