Our client, a top tier and well funded Federal Government entity focused on trade is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to join their team in July.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy covering functional, performance and accessibility testing
• Define and implement automated and manual test processes aligned with agile development practices
• Design, build and maintain automation test frameworks using industry standard tools (e.g. Selenium, Katalon)
• Develop and maintain API, UI and integration test scripts to ensure end-to end quality

Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in both automated and manual testing o Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining test frameworks for web-based digital services o Strong understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Katalon, Selenium or similar) o Proven ability to conduct manual testing o Proficiency in Test automation and CI/CD integration o Hands-on experience building and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms o Experience in API testing (e.g. Postman, REST Assured) and ensuring end-to-end system reliability
• Experience in performance testing, including using appropriate tools and techniques for performance testing (eg. JMeter or similar)
• Expertise in accessibility and cross-browser and device testing o Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1AA guidelines and experience testing for web accessibility. o Demonstrated experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices
