Your role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital
As a Registered Nurse working in Endoscopy, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner.
Our Endoscopy unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly skilled medical professionals. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and cystoscopies. Our team are dedicated in providing compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort throughout the entire process
St John of God Murdoch Hospital now have 3 positions available for Registered Nurses with Endoscopy experience to join our multidisciplinary team. Applications will be considered over the next six months as new positions become available.
The Position
- Maintain and develop clinical skills to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
- Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
- Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
- Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care in recovery.
- Prioritise workload using resources effectively.
- Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required
You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Minimum 2 years endoscopy experience within a hospital environment and postgraduate qualification will be highly regarded.

- Registered Nurse Salary: $76,990 to $101,314, plus 11.5% superannuation
- Casual rate: $48.55 to $63.89 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
