ABOUT THIS ROLE

Based out of our Stapylton depot, we are seeking a professional multi combination driver to assist our local operation on a permanent basis.

All J.J. Waste & Recycling operators are expected to be honest and reliable, contribute to a positive driving culture, work within company and regulatory guidelines at all times, and maintain high standards of truck cleanliness and presentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you drive? Volvo FM/ FH/ FMX and Mack prime movers

You will be trained in the operation of B-double Side Tipper trailers

You will move bulk solid waste between our SEQ facilities daily. (Oxenford, Stapylton, Toowoomba)

Saturday roster (Approx. one Saturday per month)

ABOUT YOU

Be able to work productively with operations staff, customers and other driving team members

Consistent commitment to safe work practices

Be able to work to variable daily start times and schedules

Be willing to work to 12-14hrs per day (depot to depot)

Complete paperwork accurately and neatly – NHVR work diary, run sheets, defect reporting

BFM accredited

Basic knowledge of heavy vehicle mass limits

Attend a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Be willing to provide a licence history report for last 5 years
