Join one of the strongest Security Architecture teams in the country, delivering impactful solutions across modern workplace technologies for a leading financial services organization.
Daily Rate is up to $1300 per day. This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in the Sydney office. The team has a big pipeline of work, 6 - 12 months rolling.
This role will see you work with a talented, forward-thinking team, focused on innovation, agility, and delivering change at pace — while maintaining a strong security-first mindset.
You’ll join the Secure by Design team within the broader Cyber Security function. The team partners across the business to embed security throughout the project lifecycle, offering strategic security guidance, reviewing designs, and helping shape scalable, modern solutions.
What You’ll Do As the Security Architect – Workplace SME, you’ll be responsible for securing the platforms and technologies that enable a modern workforce — including laptops, mobile devices, O365, Windows, macOS, and more.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing secure architecture patterns across workplace technologies
- Performing threat modelling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities
- Advising on security controls and compliance across O365, endpoint devices, and authentication (MFA, SSO)
- Working closely with infrastructure, IT, and project teams to embed security across deployments
- Staying current with the evolving threat landscape and integrating best practices into workplace security design
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in Cyber Security architecture and design
- Hands-on experience with O365, Windows/macOS, laptops, mobile (iOS/Android) and MDM solutions
- Strong capability in threat modelling and risk assessments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their security features
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and endpoint security tools
- Knowledge of industry frameworks (NIST, ISO, COBIT) and regulatory standards
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security, or GCP Cloud Security are highly regarded
