About the Role
We are currently looking for a Resilient Asset Management Investment (RAMI) Project Manager to join our team and work with the M9 – an alliance of the nine inner-metropolitan councils.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering an innovative, federally funded initiative aimed at enhancing asset resilience across the M9. This transformative project aims to ensure that critical climate and disaster risks are considered in asset management and funding decisions. As the driving force behind the RAMI Project, you will ensure its successful execution, fostering collaboration between councils and key stakeholders to build a more sustainable and disaster-ready future.
Reporting to the M9 Executive Officer and working closely with the Manager Climate Adapted and Water Sensitive City, you will lead project delivery with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and process improvement. Working alongside asset, finance, and sustainability teams, as well as a technical delivery partner, you will also engage with industry bodies and government stakeholders to maximise impact

What You Will Bring to the Role
Appropriate tertiary qualification in environment, landscape architecture, engineering, sustainability, natural resource management, public policy or science. An excellent working knowledge of asset and risk management would also be valued.
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion and communication skills including good presentation skills.
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead and participate in team-based projects relating to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in delivering good customer service and developing productive ongoing relationships including managing stakeholder relations and significant strategic networking relationships.
