SEQ Drilling provide directional drilling and civil services across the eastern seaboard.

We are looking for an experienced diesel fitter to join our team maintaining our fleet and responding to breakdowns.

You will be provided with a fully equipped 4x4 Isuzu field service vehicle (Crane, Generator/Welder, compressor, Starlink internet), laptop, diagnostics tools, uniforms and PPE.

You will report directly to company director, and will be in charge of all maintenance breakdown and records for the fleet.

Our fleet consists of Modern Prime movers, semi trailers, Isuzu trucks, drilling rigs, excavators and trenchers. Training will be provided in relation to drilling rigs and trenchers so no past experience is required.

To be considered for the role please ensure you meet the below requirements:

Experienced Diesel fitter

Able to work away from home at times as required (allowances paid and accommodation provided)

self sufficient - able to organize own days, take calls from staff, respond to breakdowns and plan scheduled maintenance tasks

Competent in servicing, repair, diagnostics of heavy vehicles and trailers

Basic welding/fabrication skills

Current HR Open license (required to diagnose / test drive vehicles only)

Able to use computer to access manuals, fill our repair and job cards, access fleet software to view faults and issues
