Pest Control Technician – Termite Specialist

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our Melbourne-based team. This role focuses on general pest control, termite inspections and treatments, with opportunities to expand into possum and wildlife control. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding homes and businesses, working autonomously and collaboratively to deliver high-quality pest solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct termite inspections, treatments, and preventative measures.

Perform general pest control services for residential and commercial properties.

Confidently access and work on roofs to address pest and wildlife issues.

Assist with possum removal and wildlife control (training provided if required).

Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records and comply with industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Fully licensed in pest control (including termite management).

Current driver’s license.

Valid Working with Children Check.

Police Check.

Comfortable and confident working on roofs.

Comfortable using technology for reporting and communication.

Availability to work after hours and occasionally on Saturdays with paid overtime.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good physical fitness and health.

Take pride in appearance and be well presented

Desirable:

Experience in possum and wildlife control (or willingness to train).

Knowledge of property construction is advantageous.

Ability to carry out pre-purchase inspections for residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications in pre-purchase house inspections are a bonus.
