About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join our team at Pearce Constructed Pty Ltd in the Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW regions. As a full-time Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of projects such as Renovations, Extensions, New Builds, Bathrooms, Decks & more, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer service on our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality work

Assist with coordinating the daily activities, including job scheduling, task allocation, and quality control

Provide a wide range of hands-on carpentry work daily

The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified carpenter,

Strong working knowledge of carpentry processes, techniques, tools, and materials

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle challenges on-site

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings

Strong communication skills

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality

Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
