Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Injection Moulding Machine Operator to join their growing team.

This exciting opportunity will be on dayshift. Monday - Friday 6am-2.30pm pay rate is $30.13ph, for a highly motivated Machine Operator staff, to become an integral part of the team. You must be available to work, Monday to Friday and Saturday as required. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Trouble Shooting / Problem Solving Techniques.
• Start up and shutdown of machines.
• Quality control of product.
• The ability to read and understand drawings.
• Daily running of machines (Plastics and Rubber Injection mould machines)
• Quality Assurance
• Computer programming (setting up measurements)
• Other warehouse duties when required.
• Able to meet quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior experience in Production/Injection Moulding a similar role preferred but not mandatory willingness to learn and work as a team essential.
• Physically Fit and healthy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work closely with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
