In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement your knowledge of best practices in Finance and adapt it to our dynamic, early stage setting organization.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Process supplier’s invoices accurately within credit terms and resolve supplier’s queries

Process sales commissions payable and customer returns accurately in a timely manner

Resolve customer’s queries and process refunds as needed

Process petty cash reimbursement and liaise with petty cash custodian to ensure it is reconciled to balance sheet on monthly basis

Prepare and report daily bank balances

Process weekly payments including international payments and sending remittances to suppliers

Process end to end customer billings in a timely manner and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer charges are accurately billed

Process customer receipts on daily basis and reconcile to debtor’s ledger and balance sheet accounts accurately and timely.

Prepare Business Activity Statement (BAS) for GST lodgments and other statutory requirements

Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries posting and balance sheet reconciliation

Assist in detailed budgets and forecast preparation

Qualifications

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Min. 3 years of experience in transactional finance roles

Proficient in Xero and Excel

Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in processing transactions

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and high transaction volumes

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Experience in real estate management, property development and construction industry are desirable

Be self-motivated with an outstanding work ethic
