Job Title: Senior Accountant / Financial Controller - SME

About You: We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is keen to support the financial operations of our growing business. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and enjoy partnering with the business to deliver great outcomes, this could be the role for you! Just like our products, D2P does not fit a ‘mould’ so you will be encouraged to bring your own unique energy and expertise to the role.

About the Role: The role will suit an experienced Accountant looking to step up and play a more pivotal role in a growing, entrepreneurial business. Someone who enjoys managing day-to-day accounting but also has the ability to work with the business owners to ensure the financial health and integrity of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and manage invoices, follow up on payments, and maintain healthy cash flow.

· Reconcile supplier accounts and communicate payment updates.

· Supervise purchase orders and manage overseas staff.

· Process loan accounts, credit card accounts, and bank reconciliations.

· Handle payroll setup, oversee payroll processing, and ensure compliance with ATO regulations.

· Work in progress of new and open jobs in D2P Project

· Manage fixed assets

· Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow Forecast.

Requirements:

· Degree in Accounting with at least 4 years of experience.

· CA/CPA qualified

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· A flexible approach with the ability to multitask.

· Sound understanding of Australian Payroll and Tax Laws.

Nice to Have:

· Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.

· Power BI with DAX experience and new system implementation experience.
