• Maximum term position up to 2 years (part-time applications considered)
• Salary range: $87,799 - $98,901 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging
• Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

About the role
In this role, you will represent clients in various courts and tribunals, including Magistrates' and Children's Courts, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. You will provide legal advice and casework in family law and family violence including intervention order matters. You'll also engage in community legal education and law reform projects and work with a collaborative team to improve client services.

Some travel is required across the South East region to attend regional courts and community outreach.

This role is based at our Frankston office on Bunurong Country.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

• Experience in family law and family violence matters, with the ability to advocate in court and manage cases.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• A collaborative team player who values working together to achieve the best outcomes.
• A current Australian practising certificate which entitles you to practise in Victoria as a government legal practitioner (mandatory).
• Entitled to practise in federal courts and courts exercising federal jurisdiction (entry on the High Court's Register of Practitioners) (mandatory).
