About the role
This is a full-time opportunity for a Behaviour Support Practitioner - Report Reviewer to join the team at Chrysalis Healthcare Pty Ltd in West Perth, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing Behaviour Support Plans to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to clients with disability. The role has flexible working arrangement (i.e. you can work from home or from the office) and aims to train Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioners to become competent to self-release Behaviour Support Plans (with and without restrictive practices), Recommendation Letters and Summary Reports. What you'll be doing
Reviewing behaviour support plans and providing feedback to optimise their quality and effectiveness
Communicating with external stakeholders, receiving participant feedback and adjusting behaviour support plans as needed
Providing guidance and mentoring to the Clinical Management team to support practitioners to self-assess as Proficient within 12 months of commencement.
Ensuring all behaviour support activities comply with relevant legislation and NDIA standards.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of all written work provided by providing constructive feedback to practitioners.
What we're looking for
Assessed as an Proficient practitioner in the Positive Behaviour Capability Matrix (required)
Tertiary qualification in behavioural science, psychology, or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in a behaviour support or case management role
Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, development, and implementation of behaviour support strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex behavioural issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and industry best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
