For over 40 years, Aquarius Distribution has been a market leader in the manufacture of pipe flashings. With manufacturing facilities in Melbourne our manufactured products and our distribution arm products suited for the plumbing and hardware industry are sold across Australia and overseas.

About the role:

As an Internal Sales Consultant you will play an important role working alongside our sales team and National Sales Manager to coordinate and process orders with our existing customer base and drive the future success of the company by attracting new customers and pursuing product and market opportunities.

A snapshot of your duties:

• Manage and process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries.
• Engage with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and online meetings to identify their needs and align them with product offerings.
• Maintain and manage the sales pipeline by tracking leads, prospects, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

You will need:

• Strong verbal and written communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) and MS office applications.

Applicants with proven internal sales, customer service/support or sales experience in the plumbing and hardware industries will receive favourable consideration.
