About the role

Little Champions Child Care is seeking a passionate and qualified Diploma Educator to join our dynamic team in Oakey, QLD. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and care of young children in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Provide high-quality educational programming and care for children aged 0-5 years

Implement the Early Years Learning Framework to foster children's learning, development and wellbeing

Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth

Maintain accurate records, observations and documentation of children's progress

Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe, inclusive and enriching learning environment

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to build strong partnerships

Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills

What we're looking for

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification (actively working towards)

Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning setting

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the team

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team environment

Current First Aid certificate, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management

Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
