About the role

Evolve Early Learning Centre in Bligh Park, NSW is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Lead Educator to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will see you leading and mentoring a team of early childhood educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and educational programs for our youngest learners.

What you'll be doing

Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-2 years

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including the supervision and support of a team of early childhood educators

Ensure all children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs are met through responsive, respectful and inclusive practices

Maintain strong collaborative relationships with families, incorporating their input and feedback into the program

Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework

Contribute to the overall continuous improvement of the early learning centre

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care

Minimum 2 years' experience as a room leader or nursery educator in a long day care or early learning environment

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement engaging, play-based learning programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

A commitment to upholding high standards of care and education, and a passion for supporting the healthy development of young children

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications
