About The Client

Our client is the world’s leading supplier of ground support products, systems and solutions for the underground mining and tunnelling industry. They are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their manufacturing in Narangba.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Production Operator, you will be allocated to a department.

Your key duties will involve:

Weld, Cut, roll, bend, shape, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal product to fabricate parts

Set up and operate welding requirements to complete welding tasks

Read and interpret drawings and specifications

Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling or grinding

Operate semi-automatic welding machines

Quality checks

Manual handling and loading finished products for transportation

Day shift: 5am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday

Afternoon shift: 1pm to 9:30pm Monday to Friday

What You Need

Proven experience as a production worker within an industrial setting

Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

Welding experience (highly desirable)

Physically capable

Drivers Licence and vehicle

Forklift licence (Desired but not essential)

Able to pass a pre-employment medical + drug and Alcohol
