Little Loftys is a new state of the art childcare centre childcare centre that opened on 13 January 2025. We have a great team of educators and are looking for a Diploma Qualified Baby room leader as our enrolments continue to grow. The centre is stunning and has a natural outdoor playground that creates a loving and nurturing environment.

Little Loftys is a family run boutique centre aiming for an Exceeding rating. Our current centre, Oatley Red Bear, is an Exceeding centre.

With the owner working in the centre, it is a collaborative working environment. We nurture and invest in our teams and provide a real family experience for our employees. We have an established management team that have worked together since 2004.

Characteristics of our candidates

Is an excellent communicator, with highly developed written and verbal skills.

Strong proven managment skills

Room leader experience in Baby Room

Current First Aid including CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma and Current Working with Children Check.

Full Time work commitment with flexibility of hours between 7.00am-6.00pm.

Create a welcoming environment for families and support them to feel a sense of belonging to our community.

Supporting educators with providing high quality care and education

Commitment to early years learning and best practice

Have excellent knowledge of the NQF, ELYF and Programming

Work with a team of educators and inspire them to be exceptional by role modelling best practice, creating harmony, productivity and success.

The nitty gritty

Salary Package based on skills and expertise and above award rates offered

Position is full-time, with a choice of 5 days per week and a monthly rostered day off (RDO) or longer hours 4 x days per week

Ultra fast internet and computers to make your admin quicker and easier.

Our hours of operation are 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are closed public holidays and we close for two weeks over Christmas.

Plenty of parking is available and we are a 3 minute walk to Loftus Railway station and shopping village.
