About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Gaming & TAB Staff to join the team at the Mermaid Waters Hotel, an ALH Group venue. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional gaming and TAB experience for our patrons. The Mermaid Waters Hotel is located in Mermaid Waters, QLD 4218.

What you'll be doing

Delivering outstanding customer service to gaming and TAB patrons

Handling cash and processing transactions accurately

Maintaining a clean and well-presented gaming and TAB area

Adhering to all relevant gaming and liquor licencing regulations

Providing assistance and information to customers as needed

Contributing to a positive and friendly work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the gaming or hospitality industry

Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences

Excellent cash handling and numerical skills

The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

A positive, friendly and professional attitude

Familiarity with gaming and TAB operations, or a willingness to learn

The relevant gaming and liquor licences or a willingness to obtain them
