About the role
We are looking for an experienced Truck and Trailer Tipper Driver to join our team at Davlor Transport in Melbournes West. This is a casual/part time position opportunity for full time role, in the near future, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our tipper trucks and trailers to transport various materials across our network.
What you'll be doing
• Driving tipper trucks and trailers to transport materials such as profiling, asphalt, soil, rock, sand, gravel, and other aggregates.
• Ensuring loads are securely and safely secured before transport
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and records of deliveries
• Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures, and company policies
• Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries
What we're looking for
• Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Significant experience (2+ years) operating tipper trucks and trailers in a transport or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of road rules and regulations
• Excellent driving and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to safe work practices and a clean driving record
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
