We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Specialist with a strong background in Plant Maintenance (PM) and Asset Management (AM) within the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing SAP master data related to equipment and maintenance workflows across mining assets. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP PM and AM modules, with a focus on data integrity and process improvements.

Equipment Data Updating and Accuracy:

Extract, review, and update SAP equipment master data to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.

Identify and correct data inconsistencies, ensuring equipment records are complete and up to date.

Engage stakeholders to validate updates and align equipment data with site standards.

Cleansing and Updating Bills of Materials (BOMs):

Conduct a comprehensive audit of BOMs to identify missing or redundant components.

Update descriptions, remove obsolete parts, and ensure accurate linkage of critical spares in SAP.

Optimize BOM structures to enhance maintenance efficiency and material planning.

Standard Job Development and Integration:

Identify missing standard jobs and develop necessary documentation for preventive maintenance tasks.

Integrate standard jobs into SAP with detailed job steps and procedural documentation.

Regularly review and update standard jobs to align with best practices.

Statutory Equipment Compliance and Documentation:

Review and update statutory equipment details, ensuring all registrations and relevant documentation are accurate.

Link all statutory records to respective equipment numbers in SAP.

Report on compliance to regulatory requirements and site standards.

Ongoing SAP Transition Support:

Provide continuous SAP system troubleshooting and optimization.

Assist users with technical challenges and ensure smooth transition to improved workflows.

Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track performance improvements and identify outstanding issues.

Recommend and implement continuous improvement strategies for sustained operational efficiency.

Maintenance Strategy Review and Refinement:

Assess existing maintenance strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Refine preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with Business Framework.
