The Opportunity: We are on the lookout for skilled Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at the Naval Base Maintenance Facility. You'll be working on the maintenance and repair of a variety of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.

Your Role:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
• Test mobile plant and equipment post-repair or assembly
• Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Develop parts lists using relevant manuals
• Work autonomously to achieve maintenance goals
• Conduct pre-task risk assessments and implement hazard control measures
• Ensure quality Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and compliance with HSE policies
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in work areas

What We’re Looking For:

• Australian Trade qualified HD/Plant Mechanic
• Extensive experience with mobile plant and equipment maintenance and repairs
• Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
• Self-starter who can work unsupervised
• High Risk Work Licence qualifications (LF, WP, CN, DG) are a plus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
