Our State Government client is by far one of the most recognisable Agency brands in Victoria. Due to new Project pipelines, more skilled / specialists are needed for new and emerging Project initiatives and workload.

As Senior Agile Business Analyst (BA/PM) you will have experience in creating, Updating, and Maintaining Process maps, Workflows, and Diagrams using Unified Modelling Language or Business Process Modelling Notation 2.0.

Your resume will show recent experience that you can lead workshops with Stakeholders to Map current Processes and Design optimised future-state Processes. Experience in Managing issues, Risks and Changes to existing Systems and lead Support activities during critical Business function delivery and BAU Support. Heavy exposure to Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct Product assessments, lead Gap Analyses of existing Systems, Processes, and Workflows, and coordinate between Business units to ensure alignment of Application Requirements.

Your experience should highlight the ability to work independently with the Business Users and in collaboration with the Business Technical specialists, undertake the Analysis of Applications and Processes to gather, Document, and refine Business Requirements. Sound knowledge in Using contemporary wireframing Tools, translating Business Requirements into prototypes compliant with contemporary User Interface (UI) standards and Create customer journey maps.

You can Manage an Agile Development Team responsible for Developing and System Testing the features, including undertaking the role of Scrum Master to lead Scrum Ceremonies and ensure Delivery to the agreed Scope, Schedule and quality Using the Agile delivery Methodology, Develop and Document User stories and Business rules in line with the Business’ standards, ensuring they accurately reflect Business Requirements.

A core skill will be to Provide Technical leadership to other members of the Team with respect to Business Analysis and Process Modelling exercises and assist the Manager, Business Analysis in formulating standards and frameworks. Stay updated with emerging Technologies, Tools, and Methodologies relevant to the Business domain and Support in initiatives to advocate for the adoption of innovative Solutions to improve Processes, Systems, and Business outcomes.

You will Actively Support and promote the objectives of the Team and demonstrate the Business’ Values.

Your resume will demonstrate

Demonstrated success in translating Business Requirements into user-friendly Design using contemporary Tools, such as Balsamic or Figma, and creating customer journey maps.

Demonstrated skills in Modelling “As Is and To Be” Processes using (UML) Unified Modelling Language, Business Process Model and Notation 2.0 standards with expertise in Business Process re-engineering using contemporary frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Extensive Business Analysis experience in delivering complex bespoke Solutions and enterprise Applications ensuring alignment of those Solutions with Stakeholder expectations.

Experience in facilitating knowledge sharing and leading Communities of Practice.

Key skills/abilities

Proven ability to elicit, investigate, negotiate, and prioritise Business objectives and translate them into feature roadmaps, clear Requirements and user stories.

Demonstrated experience in leading Scrum ceremonies and proven ability as a Scrum Master. (Scrum Master certification and CBAP certifications would be highly regarded).

Proven ability to deal with ambiguity, assimilate complex information and decipher key concepts, and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences.

Excellent “C” level communications skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to build constructive relationships with diverse Stakeholders and subject experts

Proven capability to manage competing demands and to work independently to tight deadlines.

Significant local experience as a Business Analyst (Agile BA/PM) driving large scale and complex projects end to end.

Australian Citizenship and/or Application for Security Clearance will be needed due to some 3rd party integration Projects. Police Check and C-19 Vaccinations needed.

Tertiary qualifications in Computing, Information Technology in mandatory and significant Government or industry experience would be beneficial.
