Job Title

Business Analyst

Reporting Line

This role reports directly to the Tech Lead and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, and business stakeholders.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Business Analyst (BA) to join our team and drive the analysis, design, and implementation of key business solutions for our redemption & reward platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions. In addition to the information detailed below, you will be a great listener & communicator, have strong critical thinking ability and be confident in presenting your findings to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Technical:

Evaluate and document existing (“As-Is”) processes and systems, facilitating workshops and information-gathering sessions.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and document functional business requirements, covering end-to-end solutions.

Identify opportunities for process improvements that align with the company’s strategic goals and drive operational efficiency.

Compile and manage scoping documents based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Collaborate with IT to design solutions that meet business needs while considering technical constraints and best practices.

Assist in preparing project materials and post-implementation reviews.

Support project management activities by tracking milestones, identifying risks, and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

Develop and maintain a requirements traceability matrix to ensure all project deliverables align with defined business needs.

Assist in the coordination and execution of UAT to validate solutions against business requirements.

Conduct quality checks to ensure alignment with functional and technical specifications.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyse client’s raw data, work with IT on data mapping / transformation to platform’s schema, based on client’s requirements.

Analyse platform data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.

Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD), and use cases.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Translate technical and business language to ensure understanding among diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of converting business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.

Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, design, and process improvement.

Preferred:

Experience with SaaS platforms, ticketing processes, or event management.

Basic UX/UI knowledge and familiarity with customer-centric design principles.

Familiarity with analytics tools and not limited to Power BI, Tableau and AWS QuickSight.

Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).
