We are looking for a Customer Service Officer (Donor Care Officer) on a ‘temp to perm’ basis, to join their compassionate team and help them raise much needed funds for their crucial work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact potential supporters via phone to seek their support, providing information about the charity’s mission, programs, and services.
• Acknowledge and thank donors for their contributions through personalised communication (Phone and email).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, keeping them informed about the charity’s work and impact.
• Maintain donor records and ensure all donations are accurately processed and tracked.
• Prepare regular reports on supporter activity, donation amounts, and engagement metrics.
• Work closely with the marketing, fundraising, and events teams to ensure that supporter services align with broader organisational goals.

This role is predominantly a phone-based customer service role, so we are looking for applicants who have the following skills:

• Strong communication skills, particularly verbal and aural, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
• A genuine interest in the ‘For-Purpose’ sector.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in a phone-based customer service role.
• Unlimited working rights (Working holiday visas not applicable) and immediate availability (within 1 week).
