About us:
We’re Propel Care — a close-knit, values-led team providing therapy and support services to clients aged 16 and over across NDIS, Aged Care, DVA and private pay. We’re passionate about helping our clients build independence, confidence and connection in their daily lives. We believe in creating a space where both clinicians and clients feel trusted, supported and able to do their best.
We are excited to offer 2 roles as our service continues to grow. You will have the freedom to manage your own schedule with flexibility, support from our admin team to reduce your load, and opportunities to grow in ways that suit your strengths and interests.
Our approach is practical and person-centred, with a strong focus on capacity building and meaningful client outcomes. We are in a stable growth phase and offer the chance to shape your role as we evolve together.
What you'll be doing:
You’ll provide therapy in homes, workplaces, community settings, and via telehealth when needed. We prioritise capacity building, consistency and strong client relationships.
Your work may include:
ADL training and psychosocial support
Functional capacity assessments and reports
SIL/SDA and housing reports
Assistive tech, equipment prescription, and home modifications
Supporting private and DVA clients with tailored plans
Collaborating with families, employers, support workers and coordinators
Mentoring junior team members if you're keen
You’ll manage your own caseload with autonomy, while always having access to support, peer connection and a solid admin team behind you.
Who we are looking for
You’re a people-person with a strong eye for detail. You bring energy, warmth and a can-do attitude to everything you do. You’re someone who doesn’t just wait to be told — you see what needs doing and roll up your sleeves.
What you bring
Minimum 2 years experience as an OT
Confidence in clinical reasoning, documentation and adult-focused therapy
Experience with NDIS, aged care or DVA clients
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
AHPRA registration, driver’s licence and reliable transport
Alignment with our values of care, professionalism and integrity
It's a Bonus (but not essential) if you have:
An interest in shaping systems, resources or service development
A second language or cultural competency that supports inclusive practice
Experience in running group programs
5. What you'll love about working with us
We value people, not just positions
You’re more than your task list here. We see your strengths, welcome your ideas, and genuinely appreciate your contribution.
Support is built into the way we work
Flexible working options including work from home and a 8/9-day fortnight
We plan around real life
Whether it’s school pickups, appointments, or needing a breather, we offer flexible working arrangements and take at least a two-week break EVERY Christmas to reset.
There’s room to grow
We back curious, motivated people to step up when they’re ready.
Wellbeing matters to us
Life can get busy. Our Employee Assistance Program is here when you need it, offering confidential support and a reminder that you’re never on your own.
We value diversity and welcome team members from all backgrounds who align with our values of compassion, teachability, stewardship and connection.
We’d love to hear from you. Just click Apply Now and send us your resume along with a quick cover letter letting us know what you are looking for in your next role.
