Our client's preference is for female* Support Workers who are young or young at heart who can relate to a 28-year-old male. This role will suit people wanting to be an integral part of our clients lives to develop their independent livings skills and work toward achieving their life goals. Our client requires individualised care across a range of supports which include community access, employment support and skill development in cooking, budgeting, maintaining a home, social skills and social connections.\

Experience supporting Clients living with Autism and Mental health diagnosis will be required for this role.

We are looking for a Support Workers to join our current team who are supporting weekday / weekend shifts and some evenings if social activities are scheduled.

Rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff.

Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate of $33.96 to $43.08 depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Skill Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience (6+ months), knowledge and understanding of people living with disabilities
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home and a range of settings

Plus Mandatory:

• Accredited Cert III or higher in Mental Health/Disability/Community services
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid including CPR
• Valid Driver's Licence & Vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Infection Control Training
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Food Handling Certificate
