We are seeking a skilled or willing to learn and reliable Carpenter to bring expertise and leadership to our projects. You will be involved in building custom homes from start to finish, working on everything from framing to fine finishing. This role requires knowledge in timber framing, cladding, and the ability to read construction plans. Work will be based out of Lake Clifton and Mandurah, but job sites extend to Dwellingup, Waroona, Mandurah, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from construction plans

Site set-out and organizing project mobilization

Liaising with multiple other trades to ensure best outcome for the project and client

Perform timber framing, including walls, floors, and roofs

Install exterior cladding and other finish materials

Work with a variety of materials, including wood, composite, and steel

Ensure high-quality delivery of work and adhere to safety protocols

Maintain a clean and safe worksite

Stay updated on industry trends and carpentry techniques

Work autonomously and take initiative to drive project success

Mentoring an apprentice

Requirements:

Proven experience as a qualified carpenter with an understanding of residential and commercial carpentry

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Strong skills in timber framing, cladding, and finishing work

Own a full set of carpentry tools

Reliable transportation to job sites (opportunity for a work vehicle)

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

Physical stamina and capability to perform demanding tasks when needed

Availability to travel as work requires
