Based in Ormeau Qld, FCN Operations Pty Ltd operates a fleet of late model prime movers, trailers, forklifts and other materials handling equipment.

We require a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic to take charge of our maintenance, oversee and complete scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on all fleet assets.

We have a dedicated indoor workshop and company maintenance equipment.

Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on scheduled and unscheduled (faults) as required, trucks, trailers, forklifts and other equipment.

Liaising with OEM’s (such as dealer contract maintenance and warranty)

Documenting work as required under NHVAS accreditation

Managing tyre life and replacements with 3rd party providers

Oversee and task trades assistant

Communicate and support maintenance needs with operations

Ability to self-manage your work environment and apply high level risk management processes

Minimum Requirements

Trade qualifications (e.g., Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, Light Vehicle qualifications may be considered if you are looking for a change)

Experience in a multi-skilled workshop environment

HR and Fork Licence

Ideal but not Essential

MC licence

Qld AIS Examiners Licence (HV/HT)
