Based in the Brisbane CBD, we are looking for a HR Advisor to join an International Accounting firm. This is a true generalist role where you will thrive in a position which you get to make your own.
Ideally, you will come from a professional services background and have a number of years experience working within a generalist capacity. You won’t be afraid of speaking with various levels of stakeholders and will have the ability to work with a small P&C Team, who deliver big results.
In this role you will:
- Provide generalist advice, coaching and training to leaders with regards to performance management, industrial relations, remuneration and best practice HR solutions;
- Develop and implement new initiatives, strategies and processes to improve the performance and delivery within HR and the wider business;
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and make recommendations to improve performance;
- Support, coordinate, and initiate employee engagement and culture initiatives projects, and events;
- The ability to work collaboratively to support the wider HR team on key business initiatives and to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, management or a business-related discipline will come highly regarded;
- Ideally 3 years HR experience at either a Senior Coordinator or Advisor level;
- Demonstrated experience providing advice and guidance to stakeholders;
- Proven experience in award interpretation and implementation;
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in a complex and changing environment;
- Confident in HR best practice and providing sound advice;
- Team focused attitude whilst also maintaining the ability to work autonomously is essential in this environment as well as strong communication skills.
