We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Engineer to support a whole-of-government ERP uplift program. This role sits within a dynamic and high-performing Project Management Office (PMO) that partners with smaller Commonwealth entities to assess ERP needs and deliver tailored, budget-conscious solutions.

As a Data Migration Specialist, you will lead and execute data migration strategies across ERP projects—particularly within TechnologyOne environments. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, secure, and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems, driving successful transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of data migration strategies for ERP implementations.
• Analyse legacy systems and data to determine extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) requirements.
• Manage data migration from systems like Aurion to TechnologyOne.
• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and technical teams to align data migration with broader project goals.
• Develop and implement robust data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
• Identify and manage risks related to data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Provide expert advice on data migration tools, processes, and best practices.
• Advise on establishing new Chart of Accounts (CoA) to optimise reporting in TechnologyOne or other ERP systems.
• Track and report on migration progress, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Contribute to team capability by mentoring others and sharing lessons learned.
