We have an opportunity available for a Demi Chef to join our team. You will start as an all rounder where you may be working poolside at our Award winning Adults only Pool, Summer Salt or in our signature restaurant Azure Bar and Grill.

With multiple food and beverage outlets, our main restaurant Azure Bar and Grill overlooks our beautiful lagoon pool, offering a buffet breakfast and A la Carte menu for Lunch and Dinner. Our poolside dining menus caters to our guests who are relaxing poolside. Summer Salt has a Mediterranean inspired snack menu, while Breeze Cafe at our main lagoon pool has its own unique menu that caters to our guests pool side dining needs by offering delicious salads, poke bowls, burgers and kids dining options.

This is a casual position with 32 hours a week available, we require your flexibility to work both AM and PM shifts depending on the needs of the team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume Restaurant or Cafe working at a Demi Chef level
• Full availability including weekends and public holidays
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications, Min requirement is a Cert 3
• Able to adapt to busy periods with a sense of urgency
• Willingness to learn new and innovative techniques
• Able to follow recipes and plan your time accordingly
• Keep a cool head and your work station clean and tidy during busy service
• A team player
• Actively demonstrate pride in your work
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
• Only applicants that have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia will be considered
