Rethink Allied health is seeking clinicians to become part of our dedicated team.

You will work with participants and their support team to develop intervention plans and recommendations that will help to reduce challenging behaviours. You will plan, monitor, implement training and review participant outcomes in line with NDIS funding.

You will deliver clinical psychosocial and functional supports to NDIS participants providing capacity building opportunities for participants and their support team. Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments focus on increasing a person’s quality of life including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.

We are a supportive team encouraging professional development and training opportunities. Clinical supervision is included. The hours can be flexible and we have both part-time equivalent to full time available. You will get to know your manager, who has a diverse clinical background.

Requirements
- University degree (e.g. social work-mental health, psychology, nursing-mental health, counselling, occupational therapy-mental health).

- Professional membership in your discipline required e.g. AHPRA, PACFA, ACA, Social Work.
- Knowledge of appropriate current outcome-based assessment tools.

- Experience in counselling modalities.
- Professional and Public Liability Insurance.
- Practice within professional scope and code of conduct.
- Minimum 3-years professional experience working with people with disability and/or mental illness.
- Computer skills utilising software systems.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Car with comprehensive insurance.
- Computer/laptop.
- Mobile phone.
- ABN.

Desirable
- Experience in completing behavioural assessments and developing support plans for NDIS participants.
- The ability to engage stakeholders and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to network with local service providers.
- Home office workspace.
