About the role:

• Conduct risk assessments and safety planning with individuals and families experiencing family violence.
• Provide case management and coordinate support services, including referrals to external agencies.
• Offer emotional support and advocacy for clients, ensuring their voice and needs are heard.
• Work in collaboration with other community agencies, such as law enforcement, housing, and healthcare providers.
• Assist clients in navigating legal processes, such as applying for protection orders or engaging with the justice system.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Engage in community education and outreach to raise awareness about family violence and available services.

🎯 About You:

• ✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in Family Violence
• ✅ Meet REC 209
• ✅ Registered with relevant industry bodies (or willing to obtain registration)
• ✅ Strong understanding of the community services sector and the challenges faced by families experiencing violence
• ✅ Passionate, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running 🚀
