ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for health to lead and inspire our dedicated team at our flagship store in the Fremantle Markets.

As Assistant Retail Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative and exciting wellness products on the market. Your strong leadership experience will see you being responsible for driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that our customers leave feeling inspired, energized and satisfied.

This is a part-time position (24–32 hours per week), with flexibility depending on the candidate’s availability and interest in taking on additional responsibilities. This position is intended to develop into the Store Manager role over time.

The markets operate each Friday to Sunday as well as public holidays (Monday) with all administrative tasks and meetings being based at our Head Office in O'Connor. We require full availability over weekends and public holidays to fulfill this role. No late-night trading required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage day-to-day operations of our flagship health & wellness store

Optimize store performance through visual merchandising, people management and converting traffic into customers

Deliver an exceptional start-to-finish customer experience

Educate customers on the health properties of our Australian native teas and bushfood products

Increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty with our customers

You will be trained on how to provide weekly and monthly sales feedback on financial reporting, KPIs and customer satisfaction

Ability to work with our Marketing department on store needs and upcoming promotions

Demonstrate leadership to motivate and inspire the team, fostering a positive culture

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven team leadership experience

A confident personality type that thrives on interaction with customers, building rapport with their team and hitting daily targets

Experience managing staff and creating rosters

POS software, stock control and general operations experience

Outstanding ability to engage, inspire, develop and coach staff

A highly resourceful, proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a positive problem-solving ability

The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

High computer literacy (Microsoft Office experience essential)
