Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be tasked with analysing financial data and providing insights that will guide the business in achieving its financial goals.

Your responsibilities will include preparing comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis reports as well as financial modelling and general analysis and reporting.

At times you will be required to prepare presentations to senior management and stakeholders, and as such you will use your exceptional communication skills to present in both Mandarin and English.

A true business partner role, you will collaborate cross functionally and support the Finance Director and the wider finance team with support on projects as required.

Your Profile

Willing and able to step out of the permanent market for 12 months and commence this exciting FP&A role in May/June 2025.

CA/CPA qualifications are essential, as well as the ability to fluently communicate in both Mandarin and English.

As someone with analytical skills and experience, you bring advanced Excel skills with financial modelling and are comfortable adapting to new ERPs.

Ideally you bring experience in the retail industry, and have had exposure to both large and SME commercial environments to bring varied experience to your new team.

A positive and warm style will ensure you work well with your new business, as well as a solutions and customer service focused approach.

Ideally you can start on short notice however notice periods will be considered for the right candidate.

12 months fixed term maternity cover, there is potential for longer term and salary is circa $85k to $100k + super depending on relevant experience.

A performance and retention based bonus is payable at the end of the contract.

You will also accrue leave and enjoy a hybrid working environment, with Thursdays from home.
