We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Piano Teacher (Private Tuition) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is suited to a teacher with a strong foundation in piano pedagogy, a passion for student development, and the ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons in various teaching environments.

Key Responsibilities

● Deliver private piano tuition to students in one-on-one or small group settings, both in person (studio and in-home) and online.

● Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs, levels, and goals of each student.

● Instruct students in piano technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills.

● Prepare students for music examinations, concerts, and competitions.

● Assess student progress and provide clear feedback to students and parents.

● Maintain accurate records of lesson content and student outcomes.

● Uphold professional teaching standards and represent the values of Andrew Takla Music.

About You

● Bachelor’s degree or higher in music performance, education, or similar / related field (significant relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications)

● Minimum three years of experience as a Piano Teacher in a private tuition setting

● Ability to design and implement structured lesson plans aligned with student learning outcomes

● Knowledge of a broad range of repertoire and familiarity with music examination frameworks

● Strong skills in music theory and practical musicianship

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● High level of personal organisation and reliability

● Flexibility to work across studio, in-home, and online environments as required
