The role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our valued client, a food manufacturer based in Yatala.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a Morning Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in managing day-to-day operations in the Production area to meet business objectives and KPI
• Supervise production staff
• Maintain a safe working environment, identify hazards, and foster a strong commitment to safe work practices among staff.
• Ensure strict compliance with the company HACCP plan.
• Regularly check date guns throughout production and ensure specifications for products are followed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients, packaging, and bread.
• Conduct quality checks, daily recovery reports, and MUV reports.
• Oversee stock rotation of ingredients and ensure compliance with all QA processes and SOPs.
• Provide training and lead team meetings as required by the Production Manager.
• Report any non-conformances to the Production Manager or QA Officer.
• Ensure proper completion of production paperwork and task allocation sheets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in working in a fast-paced, cold production environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, proactively seeking work.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Knowledge of production and HACCP processes.
• Understanding of HR management processes and basic legal requirements, particularly in relation to Occupational Health and Safety and Employee/Industrial Relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
