About the Role

We are seeking experienced Community Support Workers in Sydney, NSW to provide high-care support to individuals with complex needs. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, offering a competitive salary starting at $73,150 per year.

Key Responsibilities

High-Complexity Personal Care: Assist clients with mobility support, continence care, manual handling (including hoisting), PEG feeding, and medication administration under delegation.

Behavioral and Mental Health Support: Provide assistance to clients with complex behaviors, mental health conditions, or cognitive impairments, following behavior support plans.

Clinical Assistance: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans, monitor client health, and respond to medical emergencies.

Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Offer compassionate care and support for clients with terminal illnesses, ensuring dignity and comfort.

Community and Social Engagement: Support clients in accessing the community, attending appointments, and participating in activities tailored to their individual goals and interests.

Domestic and Lifestyle Assistance: Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and other daily living activities to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client care, incidents, and progress in compliance with NDIS and company guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 2 years of experience in high-care disability, aged care, or community support

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Aged Care (or equivalent)

Experience with complex needs, manual handling, and medication assistance

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (required)

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (mandatory)

Current Police Check (mandatory)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)

Working with Children Check (preferred)

Up-to-date Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations

Strong understanding of NDIS compliance and person-centered care
