Our client is a leading business in their sector committed to sustainability and renowned for their market presence and high performance. Growing rapidly they are now looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team.

The Role

You will play a key part in supporting the accounts payable process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and contributing to the overall success of the finance team. You will undertake a range of operational activities associated with accounts payable including providing escalation point for complex queries, creditors file maintenance, monthly reconciliations, invoicing and claims management and other relevant duties as provided below:

• Manage supplier reconciliations, identify discrepancies in information supplied and/or missing information.
• Full function accounts payable (invoice processing, prepare and process supplier payments, reconciliations).
• Assist with month end closing activities.
• Support the accounts payable inbox and promptly respond to queries.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have/be:

• You will bring strong Accounts Payable experience within a large business with a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to detail, accuracy, and maintaining well-documented files and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, experience with ERP systems is essential.
• A positive and professional team player.
