Senior Recruitment Advisor

Permanent Opportunity

My client is a proudly Australian-owned and operated company, established in 2014 in the heart of the Pilbara region, Newman. Over the years, they have built a team of highly skilled professionals and developed deep expertise across a wide range of mining, projects, shutdowns and vehicle services.

About the role:

This is a rapidly expanding company that has grown significantly over the past 12 months, now with 100 employees and counting! They are looking for an experienced recruiter to help shape and build the recruitment function from the ground up. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in at an early stage and make a real impact by designing and driving recruitment strategies in your own way.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers) across a portfolio of projects across Australia.

Collaborate with managers to understand their hiring needs and ensure alignment with the company's goals.

Facilitate smooth transitions for internal candidates moving into new roles within the company.

Ensure proper onboarding, including orientation, training, and team integration.

Work with management to develop strategies that encourage retention and employee satisfaction.

Developing and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Analyse data to improve future recruitment processes and identify areas for development.

What we’re Looking For:

Strong internal recruitment background ideally within blue collar environment.

Proven recruitment experience across both blue- and white-collar positions preferably within the mining, projects and shutdown contractor environment.

Basic knowledge of HR/IR requirements relating to Fair Work as well as OH&S.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong experience in hiring the right talent.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with management teams and stakeholders.
