The Family Support Services program, funded by Territory Families, Housing and Communities in partnership with Danila Dilba, is at the forefront of transforming lives by delivering exceptional support to those facing complex challenges and trauma.
In this role, you'll be part of a vital collaboration, coordinating an innovative and responsive service system to tackle high-needs situations, helping families thrive and navigate through tough times. You’ll be directly involved in strengthening connections between a network of service providers and government agencies, ensuring services are of the highest quality, efficient, and work together seamlessly to prevent unnecessary intervention.

This is a Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Northern Territory within our NT Services program. The position reports to the Manager, WA/NT.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelors degree with specialisation in in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or a related subject area. Masters qualification preferred.
- A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
- Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open minded and nonjudgmental manner.
- Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.

You must have a:
- Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles). MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application.
