Our client, a large Federal government department based in Civic, ACT, requires an experienced senior full stack Sitecore developer for a 12 + 12 month contract.

Duties

• Create highly functional, visually rich interfaces that are both usable and accessible across all common browsers and devices.
• Ensure alignment with business.gov.au brand guidelines, design systems and compliance with accessibility standards
• Provide advice and guidance to content and delivery teams for best practice utilisation of the Sitecore CMS.
• Implement the necessary ongoing Sitecore monitoring and upgrades to best utilise the enterprise modules within Sitecore with a view to implement advanced technologies to harness improved experiences and efficiencies according to the department's direction.
• Be available outside of core business hours to ensure service availability.

Selection Criteria

Essential criteria

• Experience in developing for multiple browsers and devices, and meeting accessibility standards.
• Experience with Azure PaaS Cloud or equivalent cloud technology.
• Minimum 2 years' experience developing on the Sitecore platform from v9 upwards.
• Experience developing web and frontend applications using the following technology stack:
• .NET
• C#
• Node.js
• ASP.NET MVC
• Modern JS Frameworks
• CSS
• HTML.

Desirable criteria

• Azure DevOps or Microsoft TFS and working with search technologies.
• Eye for detail & strong understanding of modern web application development practices.
• Sitecore xDB, xConnect and implementing website personalisation.
