BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. We are on the look out for a Fixed Term Early Childhood Teacher & Educational Leader to fill a Maternity Leave vacancy at Phoenix Street Children's Centre.

Position Details

4YO Early Childhood Teacher & Educational Leader
Full Time (Yellow Group)
Maternity Leave vacancy until 1/6/2026
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
38 total hours per week

Please Note: the total hours listed include non-contact time and may be required to be completed on a separate day.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Educators, working together to build an exceptional practice and help young children to thrive.

Guide the development and implementation of a high-quality educational program, based on the practices and principles of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.

Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).

Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and a Police Check are mandatory.

Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.

Experience working with children with a wide range of diverse additional needs.
