About the Role
The Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) will provide clinical leadership in partnership with the Mental Health senior leadership team including the Director of Nursing and the Director of Adult Inpatient Services. The NUM will practice clinical leadership and accountability that aligns with St Vincent's mental health clinical governance and operational management structures. The NUM is responsible for ensuring consumer care is provided in accordance with St Vincent's mission, values, and guidelines, and that consumer safety and outcomes are prioritised.

Classifications for this position will be NP51 - $126,885.20 (Per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution

  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in mental health
  • Minimum 5 years Post qualification experience in mental health
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or leadership role in a clinical unit, ward or department
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the leadership of a large multidisciplinary team
