Karralika Programs is a non-government organisation providing residential and community-based treatment for individuals and their families who are impacted by alcohol and other drugs (AOD).
Operating throughout the ACT and NSW for 45 years, we provide a range of high-quality, evidence-based programs to support our clients in learning about themselves behaviourally, cognitively, and emotionally to achieve and sustain positive outcomes in life.

The Opportunity
Karralika Programs is looking for a Community Services Program Manager to lead our dedicated teams in Deakin, ACT, and surrounding regional areas.
This role is a unique opportunity to drive service excellence, enhance clinical governance, and provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, counsellors, and lived experience mentors
- Overseeing program operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks
- Driving continuous quality improvement, embedding evidence-based practices, and leading change management initiatives
- Developing and managing partnerships, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen service delivery
- Representing Karralika Programs in external forums, contributing to strategic planning and policy development
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on program performance, ensuring service standards are met and outcomes are achieved
- Providing after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis, ensuring comprehensive service coverage

About You
To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years in senior clinical roles or managerial experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Qualification in Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs (ATOD) and/or related health field
- Leadership and Management qualification
- Experience in working therapeutically with adults, children, young people, and families
- Clinical case review and incident debrief experience
- Strong understanding of best practice AOD treatment services, including trauma-informed and family-inclusive approaches

Remuneration & Benefits
As our Community Services Program Manager, you will receive a generous salary of $122,000 - $132,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation and a host of great benefits.
