About the business and the role

Sonas Early Learning & Care is looking for passionate educators to create amazing childhood memories for our children at our beautifully appointed purpose-built exceptional centre in Huntingdale.

We are seeking Early Childhood Teachers (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification) and Diploma (Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification) to create and facilitate high-quality programmes and curricula for our Sonas children

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a Sonas Team Member, you will:

Align with our values and embrace our purpose;

Work with your team to create innovative and exciting learning programs for children in family-grouping settings based on children's interests, strengths and abilities;

Create indoor and outdoor learning environments that inspire and motivate children to learn, imagine and create;

Build strong, professional and genuine relationships with children and their families to support family participation in our program best and build trust between the service and our clients;

Lead and mentor less experienced and qualified colleagues and trainees

Actively participate in team events to promote cohesiveness and strong team culture;

Continue your own learning journey through professional development and training.

Skills and experience

When you are a member of the Sonas team you will need to:

Hold an Early Childhood Teaching Qualification, a Diploma of Education and Care (or equivalent)

Hold a current First Aid qualification, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis;

Able to facilitate a free-flow indoor/ outdoor program

Have a desire to continually improve your skills and knowledge to improve outcomes for children through regular professional development;

Have the desire to create special happy childhood moments that live with children forever.
